Fall Dining Room Makeover with Raymour and Flanigan
I am so excited for my dining room reveal. Girls, this post has been highly anticipated. I have been sharing sneak peaks on my stories from furniture shopping at my local Raymour & Flanigan store to decorating for the upcoming holiday season. I can’t believe that this room is almost fully done. I have been wanting to update the dining room for awhile now so I am so excited for this project to be nearly complete. I can’t believe it, but our old dining room set was almost 10 years old. I think we bought it right around the time when I was pregnant with Reese. It’s definitely served us well but it was a little outdated and suffered some damage from all of our moves. My style has also changed over the past few years. I used to love dark furniture pieces but now I gravitate towards light and neutral colors.

Happy Monday, girls. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I am rounding up Last Week’s Best Sellers. A lot of the pieces on this week’s list are such great Fall wardrobe staples like this neutral sweater and this poncho. I am so ready for the new season since Fall is my favorite. Fall Outfit Ideas With Black Jeans
I have been wondering.. Do you switch to darker denim wash in the fall? As much as I love light colored jeans and tend to wear them year round, I do tend to wear darker denim in the fall and winter months. I am partnering with Nordstrom today to share fall outfit ideas with black denim. I feel like we all need a good pair of black jeans and it is no secret that Wit & Wisdom is one of my favorite brands sold at Nordstrom. Of course, they’re known for their magical waistband called ab-solution. This is not only flattering but also, as I like to call it, very non-judgmental and forgiving. They are just so comfy and fit great. These black jeans are one of their newest arrivals so I had to snag them immediately. FYI: I wear size 2 in most of their jeans, but if you are in between sizes you can definitely size down. I am styling these jeans three different ways.
Fall Family Pictures – Outfit Ideas
Girls it’s that time of the year – family photo time! Are you planning on taking family pictures this year? The last time we took family pictures was in 2018. They turned out absolutely gorgeous but the process left me traumatized (hence no 2019 pics). Kids were grumpy, not really co-operating and John was less than thrilled to be there.I am putting my foot down and getting ready for this year’s session. Still trying to decide what outfits / styles we’re going to do.
September Butts And Guts Challenge
Who needs a little September motivation? I will speak for myself and say ME! We had so much fun with the July ABS challenge, if you didn’t participate, check it out here (I may repeat it in October). September has been a bit shaky for me workout-wise. I am still adjusting to the new schedule with kids at school and John back in the field.
