I have been thinking about adding these series to the blog for a while now. Things I Bought and Liked will be a compilation of items I came across -while browsing online, shopping in person, FB ads or reader recommendations. Most of these items do not fall under fashion category, but sure make a difference in my everyday life. Since sharing is caring, here is my January Edit of Things I Bought and Liked.
Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover
I came across this carpet spot remover while watching insta stories of a fellow blogger. Since Amazon makes shopping so easy (too easy) it was a spontaneous purchase. At the time we didn’t have any pets and we have very little carpet in our house, but I wanted to have it on hand just in case. Just days after it arrived, Reese got sick… all over our white rug. Let me tell you girls, this stuff is magic, I saw the stain disappearing right before my eyes. Fast forward few months, we now have a puppy. Needless to say I use the spray more often than I’d like but it gets the job done. It’s super affordable (around $12) and ships free here, value pack available here (3 for $25).
Waterpik Water Flosser
I was super skeptical … I mean do I really need a water flosser? Several of my friends recommended it, so when I came across a flash sale I caved in and bought it. My teeth are far from perfect, I never had braces and because of that the bottom part is overcrowded. I am finally getting Invisalign retainers (the treatment starts next month). Anyways, this may be tmi but flossing is crucial to my dental health. I have to say, using water flosser does leave your teeth feeling super clean. It totally replaced my regular floss (unless I travel). There is only one downside in my opinion. It is not a small item, and because of that, it does take up quite a bit of counter space. So if your bath has space limitations, this may not be for you.
Bra-llelujah! Demi Lift Bra
I may not have been blessed with ample chest, but I am very familiar with uncomfortable bras. I am talking about the feeling of ripping your bra off, as soon as you get home from work. If that’s you, I highly recommend trying the bra-llelujah bra by Spanx. It may not be the sexiest bra I won with it’s thick straps and bland color options, but it sure is one of the most comfortable ones. I honestly forget I am wearing it. It has definitely become my staple.
Revlon One Step Hairdryer and Volumizer Brush
This hairdryer is a game changer. I promise you will not go back to to your regular hair dryer after using this tool. Salon style blowout at home and under 10 min! I usually let my hair air dry for a bit before using the brush. And then dry/ style my hair in small sections.
M61 PowerGlow Peel
I’ve read about the benefits of glycolic acid, but to be honest I never really looked for any products to incorporate into my skincare regimen. I received a sample of the M61 PowerGlow Peel wipes with one of my beauty orders. It is recommended to use these 2-3 times per week at first (you can increase frequency as your skin gets used to it). I can honestly say it totally improved the overall appearance , texture and brightened my complexion. Every winter, my skin gets really dull and dry, and these wipes definitely help counteract these effects.
Thank you so much for visiting Blushing Rose Style. Hope you back soon.
