Friday Five – What I’m Loving This Week 1.24
TGIF girls! Raise your hand if you’re ready for the weekend. Do you have any fun plans? I have several things on the agenda for the weekend, all fun stuff. It will be a busy but enjoyable weekend. John and I will be furniture shopping for our dining room! Eek I am so excited, because our current dining set is 10 years old. Since it’s Friday, I wanted to do another round of Friday Five. If you are one of my newer readers, FF is a a weekly series where I share (you guessed it) 5 items I am currently obsessing over.
LOFT Capsule Wardrobe
Loft is having a sale! This is huge – the retailer often offers discounts and promos, here are the details: $45 dresses, $35 cardigans and skirts, 40% off Lou & Grey. I stopped by the store and did a small try-on. See my favorites, reviews and sizing below. My local LOFT store did’t have a ton of new arrivals in stock, but there are a ton of really cute options available online. If you are missing any wardrobe essentials, now it’s time to stock up.
Last Week’s Best Sellers 1.13 – Top 10
Hey girl hey. Wishing you a happy Monday and hoping your weekend refreshed you for this week to come. Here is my round up of the best sellers from last week. Some highlights were these $12 joggers and spanx leggings on sale!
Cultivating Good Habits – New Year New You
Hi girls. Happy Sunday! Another cold January weekend for us. Gosh, I know the winter has just began, but I am already craving spring. Anyone else feels the same way??? Speaking of January, it is the month of goal setting, planning for the entire year and of course the notorious New Year resolutions. This may just be one of my favorite times of the year, even though it is my least favorite weather wise. I love January because it is a fresh start after the holiday madness, overeating and being overstimulated by social events and family. This month offers slower pace and allows time for reflection.
Target Try-On 1.18
Hi girls! Happy Saturday. This week while I was at Target, I fell in love with this blazer, and was inspired to style it three different ways to show how it can become a really great wardrobe staple.
Mom Jeans- Trend You Should Try
Who would have thought mom jeans would make a comeback. Mom jeans were originally fashionable in the late 1990s. Just a decade later they were deemed appropriate for only middle aged women and considered uncool by trendy younger population. I know at some point over the last few years I swore up and down, I’d never wear mom jeans (or biker shorts for that matter hehe) but here I am sharing different ways to style them. I guess what they say is right, don’t knock it till you try it.
