Fall Looks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
I know you may be thinking it’s only August… but the famous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is quickly coming to end. Nordstrom happens to be my favorite retailer not only because of the vast selection of merchandise (at all price points), but also amazing customer service. Every year Nordstrom runs the Anniversary Sale, which is one of a kind event. You can buy brand new collections for the upcoming fall/winter seasons, but at significant discount. So here I am posting cardigans and coats in August 🙂 This post contains affiliate links.
There are only 4 days remaining of the sale, before all goes back to full price. I am so excited to be partnering with Nordstrom today to share two fall looks. And best news: everything I am wearing is on sale and in stock! FYI you may also enjoy these sale related posts :
I have had my eyes on this cashmere cardigan since last year. I definitely felt like I missed out, so this year it was one of the first things I purchased. Now, let’s be honest here. This cardi is definitely a splurge. It is 100% cashmere, so in my opinion it is worth the splurge. But I found a very similar cashmere option by the same brand HERE at half price.
I have been gushing over these peep toe booties for weeks! Why are they a great idea???
- on sale
- super comfy, you can be on your feet all day
- neutral color, goes with most outfits
- you can totally wear them summer, fall and spring- bang for your buck!
Fall Looks – JEANS
Now, I will be the first to tell you I never splurge on designer denim. Like NEVER! But have I been missing out? This year I decided to try on few pairs because the deals were just that good. And guess what, I ended up buying 2 pairs. These ex-boyfriend jeans were my first buy. I am a gal with athletic- built legs, and wide hips. Finding flattering boyfriend fit is so hard. And these fit perfectly, I didn’t have to contemplate long. They feel soft, stretchy and in my opinion are very flattering. Size down by one size, as they will stretch out with wear.
Fall Looks – Handbag
I have talked a lot about this Rebecca Minkoff handbag during the last few weeks. I am so excited so many of Blushing Rose Style readers have purchased it and loved it. I have been wearing mine every single day. Definitely the IT bag of the season.
This blouse has the most stunning lace details. Just a note, it is pretty sheer, so plan on wearing a nude bra. THIS blouse is also gorgeous and very similar in detail ( only $41) I highly recommend this Halogen Bra I it’s also available in additional colors HERE , HERE and in another style HERE.
It is so comfy (I think we can all relate to the moment you walk through the door of your home and one the first things you do, is take off your bra hahaha ) trust me with this one you will forget you are wearing one! And it’s on sale for only $18.
I have been calling this coat the best kept secret of the Anniversary Sale because it is still fully stocked. I am wearing size Small. It is a light coat but will definitely get you through fall and early winter. It is so chic! The skinny jeans were the second pair of jeans I grabbed. Even John admitted they were worth the splurge. So flattering and I love dark wash for fall. And what would a fall outfit be, without a touch of leopard. Sadly this exact scarf sold out, but found almost identical HERE for under $30.
Fall Looks – Booties
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a perfect time to stock up some shoes. These are my top two! I already raved about the peep toe booties. But if you are looking for another pair, these studded Sole Society booties are great. I love the pointy toe, side-split shaft and the block heel makes them super comfy. I do not recommend these if you have wide feet (the opening is not super wide).
Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to take advantage of the finals days of the sale.
Also very special thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.
