Affordable Athleisure Wear

Hey girls. We made it, Friday is here! Last week I asked my readers here on the blog and across social channels of what you wanted to see on the blog this month. Based on your feedback, you were all looking not only for more workout gear but also affordable (yet cute) athleisure and loungewear pieces. I can’t say I blame you, January is one the coldest months here in NY, and all I want to do is lounge with a cup of coffee and season 2 of YOU. Which…OMG is totally bonkers.

I have had the best luck with athleisure pieces from Walmart. I am honestly happy with every single item. It’s all cute, super soft and really affordable.

LEGGINGS (Size S) // HOODIE (Size S) // SNEAKERS

I have been so impressed with all the items I’ve tried from the brand Athletic Works which is sold at Walmart. This hoodie is so soft, is fleece lined and I love the high side slits. It fits TTS. My leggings are really nice quality, and are considered commuter pants. They have functional pockets and zip detailing which would make these appropriate for casual/dressier outfits. They remind me of the pixie pant from J.Crew.

Another great sweatshirt by the same brand. I love the gray color, the mesh sleeve detailing and how soft it is. Also available in black. I did go up by one size for a looser fit.

LEGGINGS (Size S) // SWEATSHIRT (Size S)
We all love the camo print trend, and I really like this sweatshirt. A couple of things to note, it is more lightweight, almost feels like a long sleeve tee vs a sweatshirt. I am wearing size small, but I wish I sized up for an oversized fit. The color palette is softer than your traditional camo print.

Another camo piece in the more traditional color palette, but these leggings do run big. I would recommend sizing down. My top is really cute. I love the rib texture and it would work well styled with jeans.

Last item I want to share are these joggers. They are so soft and feel like a pair you would buy from Lululemon. The cut is so good and they fit so well, which is nice because sometimes joggers can be so baggy and look sloppy.
