This week is crazy busy for our family. It is the last week of school for Reese, and most importantly she is turing 8 on Thursday! For her birthday (instead of having a party) I am taking her on a mommy and me getaway. Because of our house hunting situation (read more about it HERE), we have decided not to do a family vacation this year. And Grant’s terrible two’s are still going strong, so it’s best for him to stay home and hang out with daddy. I really wanted for all of us to go together, but in the end it just makes sense for the boys to stay home. Plus Reese deserves some undivided attention and mommy time. As I always tell her “being a big sister is not easy”. We are going to Florida in a couple of weeks and I cannot wait.
