I cannot believe Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is less than two weeks away. What is Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is unlike any other sale, it is a shopping event. Whenever you see the words “sale” you may be thinking current merchandise is marked down to make room for the new arrivals. This is not the case during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Nordstrom partners with brands and designers to deliver brand new fall and winter collections, and everything will be available to you at huge discounts for limited time only! When I say the deals are good, I really mean it. You can expect mark downs anywhere between 20 to 60% off.

When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019?

July 12 (starts at 12:30 PM EST) through 18th for Card Holders Only. If you don’t have the card, you can apply HERE.

July 19th – August 4th Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to public. Prices go up August 5th.

How to get early shopping access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019?

The only way to get early access to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is with the Nordstrom credit card (apply HERE) . I am the first to tell you never to open any retailers’ cards. I personally always decline the offers and I don’t have any… with the exception of Nordstrom. Great news is, that you actually do not have to use it as your payment method! You can pay with any other bank or credit card. Now you may be asking yourself is it really worth it. You can sit this one out and make a decision next year. That’s actually what I did! I didn’t shop the 2016 sale, and got the card in 2017.

Here’s the scoop on pre-sale. Items sell out so fast. The most popular items tend to sell out within the first two days, and there are hardly any re-stocks. While in the past Nordstrom offered more inventory during public access, in the last two years it was not the case. If you have your heart set on something, you may consider opening a card.

Tips for shopping 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Plan ahead. Make a list of things you’ll be shopping for. I make a list for my kids, my hubby and myself (clothing / shoes / beauty). For Reese and Grant I will be shopping my back to school list (sneakers, fall clothes, winter jackets, ugg boots). I personally never shop for deal on designer items (which there will be plenty of deals on those), I shop for wardrobe staples.
Shop early and shop fast. The sale opens 12:30 PM EST on July 12th. Get to it as soon as you can. Don’t leave items hanging in your shopping cart, check out right away. Trust me when I say stuff disappears fast. Remember Nordstrom offers free shipping and free returns, so you can place multiple orders. It also gives you a peace of mind, if you are hesitant about something, or sizing doesn’t work out, you can return it.
