Fall Capsule Wardrobe & 10 Fall Must Haves

Hi ladies! Can you believe we’re going into November?! The Fall season is flying by and soon the holidays will be here before we know it. With all the craziness that comes with the holidays, it can become overwhelming and I wanted to provide a helpful guide on Fall Essentials and a capsule wardrobe. A capsule wardrobe is a collection in which you just need a few essential items that are timeless and easy to pair with one another. Chances are you may already own some of these (or similar pieces), this guide can serve you as an inspiration.

10 Fall Must Haves

Booties

Do you own a great pair of booties for the season? If not, here are some of my favorites. My go to black bootie – SIENNA (size up by half size), brown booties by BP. available here. Boots

What kind of boots do you need for your lifestyle? Are you a girl boss heading into the office on a daily basis, or are you a domestics goddess? If your lifestyle is more corporate and formal, you may want to opt for knee highs or OTKs. If you’re more casual, how about a pair of Sorel or UGG boots. My knee high boot is the Sam Edelman HiItin in Praline (20% OFF), also available in black. For over the knee boots, I just got the Jayne boot. Fit TTS, stay up and really comfy. Winter Coat – Puffer & Top Coat

Do you need both? Puffer coat and or more dressy parka. topcoat. Most likely, but you may already own both and looking to update one of these. You can read my Save vs Splurge winter coat review HERE. My favorite dressier options are the Chateau Parka and the Cocoon Coat. For casual coats – there are so many great affordable options like the Amazon “IT” coat or the Puffer Chateau Parka. For teddy coats- my go to is the J.Crew one available here (size down). I would highly recommend checking Old Navy, Target and Abercrombie for more beautiful options as well.

Handbag – Tote

What kind of bag are you shopping for this season? I am a tote gal at heart! What can I say, with two kids I need room for snacks, coloring books, and a race car or two (Grant is obsessed with Hot Wheels). Here are some of my favorites.

Leggings

Since leggings are pants – you definitely need them to make your wardrobe complete. I have an entire blog post dedicated to fall outfit ideas with leggings. You can view it HERE. Suck you in, amazing quality and look great wash after wash.

Layering Tees

The ever so popular Free People thermal top is back! This one sells out every season. It is oversized, and cozy. Great to style with leggings.

Cardigans / Cozy Sweater

There are so many amazing cardigans and sweaters at all different price points. You can check out my Target try-on here, Old Navy here and Abercrombie here for some inspo. My current favorite pullovers are the Target one here (save version) and the Free People one here (def a splurge).

Jeans
