Dining Room Makeover
I have been lusting over new dining room furniture ever since we moved in to this home. Our current set is over 9 years old… and I am at the point, where I wish it would just fall apart, so we could justify the new purchase. Truth is that we have so many other expenses and home reno projects, therefore new furniture is not in the cards for now. I have been really bummed over this, but then it dawned on me… just to give my current dining room a makeover with budget friendly/ seasonal home accents.
Makeover can be easily accomplished with cute and inexpensive accents from stores like Target, Wayfair , Walmart and Overstock. Linking all my home decor goodies below. I will be adding and styling a bar cart next week, and window treatments the following week.
PAINT
Tons of questions about the paint colors. The walls are Sherwin Williams Requisite Gray and trim is Ben Moore Super White in semigloss finish.
DRAPES
So many questions about the drapes. I ended up choosing Emery Linen poletop drapes in Ivory (single width with linen lining. I also decided to add round rings to hang the drapes. FYI we used 9 rings per single panel. The finish is antique bronze, but to be honest it looks totally black, so it goes perfectly with the industrial style rods. (also available HERE)
Home Decor Accents
I just placed an order for some more seasonal pieces just in time for the holidays from Target and Walmart. Actually I am blown away by the Better Homes & Gardens accessories. So so cute! Here are few of my favorites: marble tray, gold lanterns, flameless LED pillar candles and the hurricane pillar candle holders. And I think this galvanized house candle holder will be so charming especially closer to Christmas.
I have linked all the other home decor pieces below. The images are fully shoppable. Just click on any item to be redirected to the retailer’s website.
