Red, White and Blue – 5 Outfit Ideas

Hey friends. Memorial Day weekend is approaching and I am sharing 5 patriotic outfit ideas that would work through out the spring/ summer season on any day of the week. My friend Sandy came up with this idea and I was happy to go through my closet to see what I had! Most of my wardrobe is neutral toned, so you will see mostly blue and white outfits, with a few pops of red including this fun pair of sunglasses from Amazon.

DRESS // BAG 
I’m going to start off with this gorgeous dress. It has been on my best seller’s lists ever since I showed it and it’s pretty clear why. It is midi length, has a defined waistline and it is lined which is so nice, making it not see through. Another win, it has pockets! I am wearing XS. My bag is from Sole Society. I love the circle handle and it does come with a removable strap so you can choose how you wear it.

How pretty is this top? Would you believe it’s from Walmart? So good, right? I love the statement sleeves and it does come with a layering cami which is a nice touch, I am wearing size small. My high rise shorts are from Express.  I sized up by one size which I tend to do in all of my denim shorts. They have seamless front pockets so you don’t see imprints and they have the rolled detail cuff which I love. My fun sunglasses are $10 and my bag is from Sole Society.

 TANK // JOGGERS // SANDALS // SUNNIES // KIMONO
This outfit would be perfect for cooler temperatures. I know here in NY the temperatures are definitely talking their time to warm up! I shared this tank in my last Target Try-On which you can see in THIS post. I am wearing size small, but probably need an xs since it is a bit big on me.But, I do love the U-neck line and the adjustable straps. My joggers have been on the best seller’s list for months in a row. They are so comfortable, fit tts and I am wearing size small. They are back in stock, available in all sizes and on sale. For an added layer, I chose a subtle animal print kimono.

A very casual – any day outfit idea. I shared both of these pieces in my last Target Try-On. My tee is very FP inspired and my shorts feel very Madewell.
My bag is actually from Walmart. I had a similar one last year that I sadly left behind on one of our vacations. This one is just as good and I’m happy that I found it.

SWEATSHIRT // SHORTS // JACKET // SANDALS
This might seem like a stretch, but! there is not another red item in my closet. My sweatshirt is very soft, has a bit of a cropped fit and has distressed detailing. I am wearing size small.
My shorts are from Target. I love the length, the raw hemline and I am wearing size 4.
