I think it’s safe to say we are wrapping up the short season and moving on to jeans and longer styles of bottoms. Specifically, I have been obsessed with flare bottoms for my fall & winter outfits and have found many styles from Nordstrom. Adding a touch of flare to your outfit can make a huge difference in the vibe of your look, which, personally, I’m obsessed with. I have some super cute outfits styled with flare bottoms, all from Nordstrom. I also found similar styles below, so be sure to check them out!
My Favorite Sweater Look
I have been obsessed with this sweater for a while now and adore it. It’s super chunky and warm; for reference, I’m wearing a size small here. Also, it’s super long in the back, so that you can style it with leggings or cute jeans. It’s also available in this brown which is perfect for neutral outfits, or they have a white or fun neon green color that is just as gorg!
This whole look will be one of my go-to styles this season. I highly recommend securing a good pair of black booties for all your warmer outfits. Simple Chelsea Boots like I have on here are versatile and go with everything! The star of this blog post is these Lou Lou Velvet High Waist Flare Pants, and I can’t get enough of them. Seriously so flattering to dress up or down depending on your mood, and velvet is a great holiday style.
Chic & Casual Look
This top is one of my favorite picks so far and is also a velvet material to match the pants. It’s about tunic length and stretchy, making for a great pair with leggings. This top is also available in a gorgeous ginger colorway that would be perfect for thanksgiving or fall family photos!
The same velvet jeans and Chelsea boots are here, and I just love this look. Usually, when wearing an oversized top, it’s better to pair it with flattering bottoms. This helps avoid looking too frumpy compared to oversized tops and bottoms. This is why I love the flair look; they complement your figure while still giving you that space at the bottom.
Long Cardigan & Flare Look
The last outfit idea is this super oversized dusty cardigan that is thick and long enough to wear as a coat for colder days. I definitely recommend sizing down on this one just because it is on the longer and oversized side. But I love the pattern on this, and it also comes in a grey colorway, perfect for winter styles.
Here is the whole look together again, sticking with the same bottom half from the other outfits because they are so versatile. This cardigan alone is the star of the show, so I kept the rest of the outfit pretty simple with just a black tank top. If you have a busy day running errands but still want to look stylish, I think this outfit is a great option; it’s easy to put together and super comfortable.
If you love these styles as much as I do, you can shop them below. I love trying new things from Nordstrom because it’s free shipping and returns on everything, making trying new styles so much easier. Thank you so much for visiting the Blushing Rose Style blog, and very special thanks to Nordstrom for partnering with me on this post. As always, all views and opinions are mine.
