Sephora Holiday Sale starts today! I don’t know about you but I wait for this sale event to stock up on my go to products, but I also take this opportunity to try new stuff. The sale doesn’t happen often, so when it comes around it’s a big deal. I am rounding up my favorites by category: from makeup, to skincare & hair products / tools.
How much can you save during Sephora Holiday Sale? There are three tiers- you can save 20%, 15% or 10% based on your insider status. If you don’t have Sephora insider status, it’s free (not a credit card- more of a rewards system), you can sign up here and still save 10%.
Sephora Holiday Sale – Makeup Favorites
Here are some of my favorite makeup products from Sephora. I have several foundations, cc creams and mascaras that I love but here is what I’m currently using.
To keep that summer glow all year round, I love Drunk Elephant’s D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops. I mix a few drops with my It Cosmetics CC cream for a beautiful glow. My color is medium tan. My go-to concealer is tarte’s Creaseless Concealer. For bronzer I use Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer in medium (tan in the summer). My current favorite highlighter is the Hour Glass Highlighting Palette and for lippie I use Too Faced Lip Injection in Glossy and Bossy. My go to setting spray is Urban Decay All Nighter.
For my eye makeup, I’ve been using the the Giorgio Armani Eye Tint (in Gold Copper). I have a highlight tutorial saved in my IG feed called “eye tint”. It is the most perfect color (a lot lighter than it looks online). Its liquid formula dries quickly without creasing, stays on all day. You don’t need a brush just apply with the applicator in the tube. My tried and true for mascara is that I always start with Lancôme CILS primer. It’s vitamin enhanced and makes your lashes look longer and fuller. Follow with It Cosmetics Superhero or Lancôme Lash Idol. For Brows – I only use two products either Anastasia Brow Whiz or the Brow Powder Duo in Medium brown. If you use the Powder Duo you will need this brush as well
Sephora Holiday Sale – Hair Products & Tools
I have been using the same hair products for as long as I have been covering the Sephora sale! First up the dry shampoo – it’s a must, right ladies? My favorite for a while now is the IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo and it’s hands down my all time favorite. The Olaplex system from shampoo, conditioner, and treatment does not disappoint and I always stock up during the sale. For styling products I love the Bumble & Bumble brand. The thickening spray is hands down the best texturizing spray I ever used. I also love their Thickening Great Body Blow Creme.
I love my GHD curling iron. Though I don’t use it as often now. I like it more than T3 – its seems less damaging. I am a proud owner of Dyson Airwrap. While this tool is not for everyone, I am someone who is not that great with styling hair. And the Airwrap gives me that salon style blow out at home, without damaging my hair. Pros: it works fast and well, you can create multiple looks. The hairstyle is long lasting (it usually lasts me 3-4 days), it is quite easy to learn. Cons: the price (ugh I know), the size (not best if you have limited space) and last- you have to switch barrels (one for left side, one for right). None of these were a deal breaker for me, and I could not be happier with my purchase. This would make an amazing holiday present for the beauty lover (or yourself)!
Sephora Holiday Sale – Skincare/Body care
I don’t buy a lot of skincare from Sephora but I just started using Algenist Triple Algae Eye Renewal Balm. Its moisturizing and targets dark circles. It helps with firmness and elasticity. I always buy these on sale and literally can’t get enough of this scent: Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream and Moisturizing shower gel. For acne and breakouts I use the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion.
Sephora Holiday Sale Makeup Brushes
If you are looking to replace any of your older brushes, here are my favorites. The dual sided powder brush from Hourglass is a fan favorite and usually sells out day 1 or day 2 of the sale. I will be grabbing a new one. I love this Fenty brush for highlighter and use the beautyblender sponnge and beautyblender solid soap cleanser for cleaning.
