Have you started decorating for fall yet? I am just getting started. It’s definitely a little bit later this year and maybe it’s because we live in the south. It’s still beautiful, hot and sunny outside so it’s hard to imagine fall-like temperatures. But, seeing all the fall home decor and new fall arrivals everywhere definitely sets the mood. And, in case you were wondering, yes I have my pumpkin candles going all around the house. I was recently at Walmart and loved all the new arrivals. From fashion and all the cozy sweaters to home decor pieces. The selection is amazing at great price points, with fast and free shipping on most items.
This is probably the first time we live in a house with an outdoor space that we can use year round. Every year one of the biggest focal points around my seasonal decorating is my dining room. I especially love tablescapes! Hint Hint Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I go all out. But, since we are still a few months away from that, I set up a cozy fall outdoor dining space and I can’t wait to host some friends for dinner. For now, I will spend some time with John and the kids in this cozy, intimate space.
I love the contrast of the placemats with the dark dinnerware. The placemats are reversible and wipeable. Our everyday dining plates are white so I wanted to do something different for the fall season so I went with a black dinnerware set. They are available in 3 patterns and are so affordable.
Gold flatware is so festive and I use this set with my tablescapes for Thanksgiving and Christmas
Nothing sets the seasonal mood better than warm candle light and pumpkins. The votives come in a set of 48. I love the neutral colorway of the pumpkins. They come in a pack of 6. The leaf garland can be purchased individually or in a pack of two. The colors are gorgeous. Since the leaves aren’t really turning yet in South Carolina this brings a little bit of color into the dining setting. This garland would also look beautiful decorated indoors.
For when the sun starts to set, the candles and lanterns really make a difference. The black matte candle holders are so chic. They come in a pack of three. The taper candles can be found here.
Walmart has an amazing selection of outdoor lanterns and I fell in love with these. The rattan style lantern comes with a faux candle that flickers to imitate a flame. I got two for our pool side, but later in the season, I may bring them indoors and set them on the coffee table. They also work great for front door display. The black lanterns are pretty amazing too. They have solar light panels so they generate energy throughout the day so the twinkle lights glow at night. They also can be hung.
Thank you so much for visiting Blushing Rose Style blog. And very special thanks to Walmart for partnering with me on this post. As always, all views and opinions are mine.
