The weather is changing quickly, but for me it felt like fall as soon as my kids went back to school. And while we may not get the beautiful fall foliage here in the South, the weather is just perfect. It is not as hot or humid, which makes it ideal for outdoor activities. I have been playing tennis, riding my bike and kayaking. But I am especially excited for the hikes on the trails of our beautiful community.
My go to place for all my activewear / outdoor gear is definitely Backcountry. I have shopped there for years. Whether it’s for running, tennis, kayaking or daily walks with George, Backcountry always has me covered.
For limited time only, Backcountry is offering us an exclusive discount code – use BLUSHING15 to save 15% on your first, full priced order (some brand exclusions apply).
Fall Hiking – What To Wear
Sneakers / Boots
I love hiking in my Sorel sneakers. They are super comfy and fit TTS. Backcountry has great selection of Sorel shoes from sneakers to boots.

Leggings
I’ve had these Sweaty Betty leggings for few seasons now. They are amazing quality, give you that “hugged” feeling and are great for all kinds of workouts from running and biking to high intensity training.
Shirts/ Jackets
Right now I can still hike in tees and flannels. I sized up one size in THIS one, however I’d recommend ordering your true size. I also love THIS one. But when the temperatures drop, I highly recommend this Patagonia jacket. I’ve had it for several years, it’s the best! Actually everyone in my family owns one. It’s light and comfy, but keeps you warm.
Yeti Gear I am Loving
Thanks so much for visiting Blushing Rose Style, and very special thanks to Backcountry for partnering with me on this post. As always all views and opinions are mine.
