Makeup Products
If there was only one thing you can buy from the Sephora Sale, its the Makeup By Mario bronzer. It is very natural, super easy to apply, and literally blends right into your skin. Along with the bronzer, I recommend grabbing the Makeup By Mario dual ended contour brush.
Another product I rave about all the time is the Armani Liquid Eye Tint! If you could only buy two items from this list, this is the second! I have been using this eyeshadow for many years, and the formula is what makes it my favorite. It doesn’t crease after a long day, is easy to apply, and is mature skin-friendly. My favorite colors are 18, 22, 25, and 9S.
The top 3 foundations I always recommend are the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, which is full coverage and leaves your skin with a beautiful glow. Next up is the Makeup By Mario foundation that feels so lightweight and gives your skin a flawless finish. And if you’re looking for something super full coverage, you can never go wrong with the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation
The two concealers I love, depending on the amount of coverage I am looking for, are the IT Cosmetics concealer and the Estée Lauder concealer. The IT Cosmetics concealer is so natural and so hydrating because it’s loaded with hyaluronic acid and vitamins! The concealer by Estée Lauder is fuller coverage and mature skin friendly without being drying or looking cakey.
For setting powders, I always look for mature skin-friendly formulas that are not drying and look natural on my skin. The Estée Lauder loose setting powder is one of my favorites. I use the translucent matte color. I also love that it comes in a user-friendly container because you don’t make a mess every time you use it. Another great option is the Estée Lauder Double Wear powder foundation, which can be used as a setting powder and matched to the color of your skin.
For blushes, I really love the Westmen Ateleir blush stick in Garconne (better than the Rhode blush in my opinion!) It’s so creamy and pigmented, and it just melts into your skin. I layer the Westman Ateleir loaded highlighter on top of the blush, and it creates the most beautiful combo! If you’re looking for a powder blush, the YSL blush is amazing.
Finishing off with setting spray, the One Size waterproof setting spray is amazing! It’s like hairspray for your makeup; nothing is moving or smudging with this!
I have to recommend the Lančome Cils Mascara Primer. I have been using this for years, and it’s a must-have! It has vitamins that make your lashes appear thicker and longer. I recently discovered the YSL mascara, and I absolutely love it. I got it in the brown color and I love how natural it looks
This sale is a great opportunity to replace old makeup brushes or grab a new one you’ve wanted to try. The brush I recommend the most is the Makeup By Mario foundation brush (F4), it’s dual-ended so you can use the other side for concealer, blush, or highlight. The F1 brush by Makeup By Mario is my favorite contour brush that I use with the bronzer. The fluffy dual-ended brush by Hourglass is great for setting powder. The Finishing Touch
For a lip liner, I would recommend the Fenty Lip Liner because it’s long-lasting and waterproof. My favorite lipstick is by Pat McGrath in the color Négligée. My go-to lip gloss is the Patrick Ta Lip Shine, pricey but worth it!
Body Care
The L’Occitane Shower Oil starts as an oil but turns into a thick, rich cream once you add water. It’s great for anti-aging because it is so hydrating and leaves the skin ultra soft. I have purchased it dozens of times and will continue to do so.
The Soft Services Buffing Body Bar removes dry skin and leaves your skin feeling so soft. It smells like coffee, vanilla ice cream, and orange liquor. I use it several times a week for soft and smooth skin, it also helps with preventing ingrown hairs!
I, of course, have to recommend the Josie Maran Body Butters. The Vanilla Vibezzz and Golden Hour are my favorite scents. This truly leaves your skin so soft, hydrated, and glowy from the argan oil!
Skin Care
I start with the Caudalíe Cleansing Oil to remove my makeup. It’s made with castor oil to condition my eyelashes and keep my skin clear. The Kiehl’s Face Wash is great for dry and sensitive skin. Also, the Kiehl’s liquid pimple patches, no more sleeping with stickers on your face! Just dap a little bit on the breakout, and it speeds up the healing process so much.
I use the Caudalíe Beauty Elixir throughout my makeup application and then throughout the day to refresh and rehydrate my skin. I love the Caudalíe Instant Detox Mask because it helps to shrink pores, remove impurities, and keep your skin looking fresh, tight, and clear.
Hair Care
The Kératase Night Hair Serum is like a magical nighttime moisturizer for your hair. I only buy it when it goes on sale, though, because it is pricey.
I also recommend the Living Proof Dry Shampoo, the formula is so good and leaves your hair feeling fresh. The Living Proof Flex Hairspray is amazing because you can also use it like a heat protectant. The Amika Top Gloss is the perfect finishing touch.
Fragrances
Okay, so obviously I love my perfumes. This sale is such a great opportunity to try a new scent or stock up on your favorites! My recommendations are as follows:
- Ginger Biscuit by Jo Malone – My favorite holiday scent! This makes me feel like I’m in a Hallmark Christmas movie. It’s only available at Sephora for a limited time.
- Dave by Henry Rose – This is a vanilla scent, but it’s not like anything I have ever smelled before. It’s not overly sweet, and the beauty of this fragrance is the dry down.
- Secret Crush by LoveShackFancy – I didn’t think I would like this one based on the bottle, but it’s a champagne vanilla scent that smells like you’re floating in a sugary cloud. It’s sweet but not too sweet and definitely a fan favorite.
- Missing Person by Phlur – There is a reason this is a best seller. It’s a very nostalgic scent. Very soft, skin-like scent. Definitely a crowd pleaser, always gets so many compliments
- Baby Cat by YSL – This is a vanilla fragrance that is not sweet. It’s actually very bourbon-like, like very smoky. Its a sexy nighttime fragrance. I would not recommend this one as a blind buy
