We’ve been in South Carolina for a little over a month now and we are finally starting to feel settled. The house is almost unpacked. Some rooms still definitely need some love. I forgot how much work moving is. Even though we have moved so many times over the last decade and sometimes feel like pros, it just never gets easier. However, we have learned so much from each time and I’m happy to share tips and tricks with you all. Also, BRS readers are sharing their best tips for moving as well.
I cannot believe that I have been in South Carolina for a month now. Due to the move, I took some time off from working out and my fitness routine was put on the back burner. I’m more settled and trying to get back into the swing of things. Our neighborhood has amazing amenities and space for staying active outdoors. Even though its been awhile since I’ve put some serious miles on my sneakers, the neighborhood has running trails and beautiful sidewalks. I’m trying to take advantage of the gorgeous weather even though it is still very hot, so I’ve been doing my runs early in the morning or later in the evening. If you are getting back into running or if you’re looking for new gear, Backcountry has an amazing selection of items.
Today is an exciting day because the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open and available for everyone to shop. This sale is one of my favorite shopping events because it’s a great time to save on fall wardrobe essentials, home finds and my favorite: shoes. A girl can never have too many, right? I love that Nordstrom does this sale every year. It’s a great opportunity to address all the gaps in your wardrobe for the upcoming seasons. Free shipping and free returns make for worry free shopping. I know many items have sold out but there is still so much in stock and I’m sharing my favorite shoe finds with you.
